Uno has produced hundreds of different types and versions of Uno cards since the late 1990s. Most of these games have a unique Uno wild card with a unique rule. Here you can find the rules and effects of these unique Uno wild cards.
Wild card – When you play this card, you get to choose the color that continues play (any color including the color in play before the Wild card was laid down). You may play a Wild card on your turn even if you have another playable card in your hand. These include Skips, Reverses, Draw Twos, Wild and Draw Four Wild cards. You’ll find 25 of each color (red, green, blue, and yellow), eight Wild cards, three Customizable cards and one Special Rule card inside the 112-card deck. If you can’t make a match, you must draw from the central pile!
Newer versions of Uno often come with customizable Uno Wild cards. Any of these rules can be written on those cards.
This page is also useful for playing Special Card Roulette and Special Card Showdown (check out the Uno Gameplay Variations page for other ways to play Uno). Print this page to use it quickly as an in-game reference. If you want to see a list of every type of Uno game and spinoff, check out the All Uno Games page.
If you are interested in purchasing any of these Uno versions, clicking the name of the version will take you to the Amazon listing or search for that item.
Rules for Unique Uno Wild Cards
Angry Birds Uno (King Pig Wild Card Rule): Choose a color. All other players must take turns drawing cards until a player draws a card of the selected color. You then choose the color of play.
Barbie Uno (2010) (Fashion Trend Wild Card Rule): Choose a color. Starting with the next player and continuing in the direction of play, each player must show you a card of that color or draw 2 cards. This lasts until one other player draws cards or until all other players show the chosen color.
Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse Uno (BFF Power Wild Card Rule): When a Draw 2 or Draw 4 is played against you, use this card to block the effect. You may then choose the color that resumes play.
Batman Uno (2005) (The Joker's 3 Wild Card Rule): You have a total of 3 cards to make other players draw. You may distribute these cards in any manner (i.e. 3 cards to 1 person; 1 card to 3 people; etc.).
Batman Begins Uno (Justice Wild Card Rule): When this card is played, the player distributes cards from his hand in the direction of play until he only has one card left (don't forget to say 'Uno' when you finish). The player then chooses the color of play and play resumes.
Batman: The Dark Knight Uno (The Joker's Wild Wild Card Rule): Choose a player and a color. The chosen player must keep drawing until they draw a card of that color. Once they do, they discard the card they draw. Play then resumes as if the person playing the Wild card had just played the discarded card.
BTS Uno (Dancing Wild Card Rule): Choose a color. The next player must perform a BTS dance routine or draw 3 cards.
Captain Marvel Uno (Cosmic Crush Wild Card Rule): Take all of your cards and put them on the bottom of the Draw pile in any order. Then, draw the same number of cards from the top of the Draw pile, choose a color, and resume play.
Care Bears Uno (Care-A-Lot Wild Card Rule): After this card is played, all players (in play order) get to play any card from their hand, ending with the person who played the Care-A-Lot card. The cards played during this time do not have any effects and do not need to be normally playable on the top card of the discard pile. After all players have discarded a card, the player who played the Care-A-Lot card chooses the color of play.
Cars Uno (Victory Lap Wild Card Rule): All players pass their cards facedown in the direction of play. The person who played the card looks at the cards passed to her and decides whether to keep the cards or pass them. This process continues until the person who played the card keeps the cards in front of her or gets her cards back. She then chooses the color of play.
Cars 2 Uno (Special Agent Mater Wild Card Rule): When you play this card, you may look at every other player's hand.
Cars 3 Uno (Crash Up Wild Card Rule): Combine all of your cards with the next player's cards. Then, shuffle those cards and deal them evenly between that player and yourself.
Chicago White Sox Uno (Manager Wild Card Rule): Call out a card that you want (e.g. Draw 4). You may then trade any card in your hand for that card from any or all players that have it.

Disney Uno (Sorcerer's Apprentice Wild Card Rule): When this card is played, the next player draws 1 card, the following player draws 2 cards (increasing one card as it goes to the next player), until every player except the person who plays this card has drawn cards. The player who played this card then chooses the color of play and play resumes.
Disney Channel Uno (Behind the Scenes Wild Card Rule): Give away all of your cards of one color to the other players by giving a card to each player in a clockwise direction until they have all been distributed. You may then choose the new color of play.
