Caesars Interactive Entertainment entered the Indiana sports betting market in May 2020 as the state’s seventh mobile sportsbook provider. The Caesars Indiana sportsbook app operates off a license held by the Horseshoe Hammond, which itself is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
The Caesars Indiana app is available to customers 21 or older and located within state lines. Customers do not need to be Indiana residents – and can in fact sign up from anywhere – but must be located within state lines in order to place wagers.
Caesars is a fully licensed and legal online sportsbook for patrons physically located in New Jersey. Caesars launched online sports betting on September 6th, 2018, and takes real money online bets through its own online gaming license. Caesars Entertainment is partnered with Vegas-based Scientific Games on digital sports betting and online gaming in multiple states. The two renewed their partnership in mid-2020 following successful launches in NJ, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
When compared to other mobile apps, Caesars Indiana Sportsbook ranks above average in terms of usability and responsiveness. While it is common for other apps to hang for a second when switching between sports or menu items, the Caesars app responds to user input instantly.
Users should find the mobile app easy to navigate as it is organized in a straightforward manner. Visitors are greeted with a list of popular wagers upon logging in and can use a navigation menu along the bottom of the screen to view all sports, visit the in-play betting area and to see trending (popular) bets.
Tapping the odds on any wager adds that bet to the betting slip, which maintains a running list of all wagers that have been selected. Users can then tap the bet slip icon in the corner of the screen to view all wagers, adjust bet sizes and to combine them into parlays if desired. The betting slip always displays how much money is about to be risked and how much can be won so users can confirm their total risk vs. reward prior to confirming each wager.

Betting with the Caesars Sportsbook Website
Mobile and desktop users can visit in.caesarsonline.com to place wagers online through the responsive website that automatically resizes itself to fit all screen sizes with no download needed.
The Caesars desktop sportsbook looks and functions much like the mobile app but with much more room to view open wagers and see all available markets for each game. As users select wagers, a betting slip located on the right side of the screen is updated with a full list of all pending wagers. There, users can input amounts to wager, create parlays, remove wagers and confirm bets.
One area in which Caesars Online comes up short compared to the competition is a lack of stats or other handicapping tools. While other Indiana sportsbooks provide head-to-head matchup stats (such as how each team has fared against one another in previous matchups and scoring trends), Caesars Online offers no such functionality.

Caesars Sportsbook tends to focus most of its attention on the major US sports and the most common types of wagers. Coverage of international sports includes soccer, which is further broken down into markets for MLS, Englad, Italy and Spain.
Although Caesars Sportsbook has offered online betting in the US since 2017, market depth is still lacking significantly relative to the competition. Caesars Sportsbook In-Play Betting
Caesars Indiana offers in-play betting markets throughout the game for most major sports events, including all the major US pro sports and many college games.
Coverage is adequate at the macro level but drilling down to the micro level once again reveals a lack of market depth. Most in-play events include just a handful of wagering options, particularly full-time and half-time outcomes, plus the occasional prop.
Additionally, a lack of live stats and other real time information further dampen the experience relative to other sportsbooks. The Caesars in-play betting experience may prove useful for hedging pre-game wagers or taking the occasional stab at an in-game market, but other Indiana sportsbooks offer a more complete in-play betting experience.

ACH eCheck (VIP Preferred)

Caesars Online Play+ Card
The Caesars Online Play+ Card is a prepaid debit card that allows customers to make instant online deposits and receive cashouts. After registering and making a deposit, Caesars will mail a physical debit card to the user’s registered address. That card can be used to make ATM withdrawals or purchases wherever Discover is accepted.
Online Bill Pay Deposit
The online bill pay method allows customers to use their existing online banking credentials to authorize a direct bank transfer from their bank account to their sportsbook account. Customers simply choose this method, select an amount to deposit and then login using their existing online banking info to authorize the transfer.
Online bill pay is only compatible with the following banks: Bank of America, BB&T, Chase, HSBC Bank USA, ING Direct, PNC, Regions, SunTrust, TD Bank, U.S. Bank, Capital One 360 and New York Community Bank.

Responsible Gaming Tools
Section 3 of Indiana’s sports betting regulations require operators to provide several responsible gaming tools, including the ability to set limits for deposits, wagers and time spent logged in.
To that end, Caesars Indiana allows customers to easily set the following limits from within the account management area after logging in.
- Spend limit: Set the maximum amount that may be wagered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- Deposit limit: Set the maximum amount that may be deposited on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

- Cooling Off Period: Prevent access to the account for anywhere from 3 days to 365 days.

Via a partnership with Harrah’s Philly, Caesars online sportsbook launches in Pennsylvania
One name you have been waiting for in Pennsylvania is finally live in the state. Caesars Online Sportsbook is live and taking bets as of Tuesday, March 10 at 3 PM EST. It is a soft launch centered around testing as required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control board. Caesars Online Sportsbook is partnered with Harrah’s Philadelphia and with iGaming partner Scientific Games and is live on desktops and Android devices. The Apple iOS app will be coming next, but is not currently live. Caesars also will be bringing their online casino in due time, and hopefully online poker to follow.

Caesars PA, via Harrah’s Philadelphia was supposed to launch in the fall of 2019. But like many others, initial timelines have not been gospel. Harrah’s Philadelphia’s retail location inside the casino has been open since January 2019. Caesars Online Sportsbook PA will be the ninth PA sportsbook app available. Caesars Sportsbook offers a full access sportsbook with various selections of sports, betting types, in-play betting, and more. This is just in time for March Madness, which is certainly one of the most popular times of the year for sports betting. With Scientific Games being the iGaming partner for Caesars, PA sports bettors will gain another set of odds to shop with. Better odds means a higher likelihood of profit long-term. Users will be able to use the application on Android and desktops right away, with an iOS app coming soon. If testing goes as planned, the sportsbook will launch to everyone in PA on Friday, March 13th.
